For anyone who's interested, I've posted a "making of" article about the three illustrations I've contributed so far. I laid out how I did each one step by step.

(Not to steal any thunder from Unblinking, but) Aaron Diaz who creates the Dresden Codak webcomic (which I dearly love) also writes (draws?) a blog on how to create various visual effects, how he arranges and fills the space on the page and so on.
It's set out for pretty much amateurs to follow (well, *I* read it and I could follow it fine) and full of great tips and advice.
And, of course, after that (and reading Unblinking's blog - great idea, btw) I heartily recommend people browse through the Dresden Codak webcomic archive http://dresdencodak.com/archives/
Anyway, back to the DARP.......
